New features

  • We added a new simulation component Object3DCutter, which enables the simulation of a saw
  • We added a new simulation component KinematicPathMover, which allows to move 3d-objects along a free definable path

Improvements

  • When saving projects, a message is now shown
  • New video guides are available in the twin documentation
  • Small re-designing of the tools in the 3D-View window (Measurement Tool, Move selected objects and Add a new cube)
  • PLCConnector: In the OPC-UA driver settings it is now possible to force the reading of values always and not only on change. This affects e.g. the OPC-UA connection to ABB RobotStudio.

Fixed issues

  • Fixed an issue that causes twin to crash when a connector is moved from one input to another in the simulation component diagram
  • Fixed an issue in the simulation component DynamicRotationMover which leads to wrong rotation axis
  • Fixed an issue that may leads to a wrong position in duplicated 3d-objects
  • Fixed wrong scaling of the arrows on large conveyors
  • Fixed an issue that caused twin to crash when a 3D object was selected and the camera was zoomed out too much
