2022-12-14 - twin 1.26.0
New features
- When changing the
Rigid Body Behavior
of a 3d-object, you can now define a Mesh Simplifier
that is used to optimize the mesh for physical simulation. You can edit existing profiles and add new profiles in the Settings
view under the Mesh Simplifier
tab.
- You can now use the
Save and Zip
button to save the project and create a zipped version at the same time
- When using the
Measurement Tool
, the delta lines for x, y and z are drawn in the 3D View
window
- A new simulation component
ControlPanel
was added, which replaces the existing ManualOutputs
Improvements
- Performance improvements when groups with many 3d-objects are moved by kinematic movers
- Performance improvements when grouping many 3d-objects in the
Assembly Structure
window
- Performance improvements in the
PLCConnector
for the protocols OPC-UA, PLCSIM Advanced and Beckhoff-ADS
- When using the
Move 3d-objects
tool in the 3D View
window, the user now gets a feedback, when object are moved by selecting the target coordinate-system
- The
Visual Physics Debugger
now has a button to reload the scene
- The light-ray color for
DataReader
and DataWriter
now differs from the light-ray color of the LightBarrier
- The installer does not reset the settings anymore. Instead you can set the settings back to factory default when installing twin.
- Improved the rendering quality in the Web-View of twin
Fixed issues
- Fixed an issue that occurs in the current version of the .Net Framework 4.8 and causes twin to crash when the user clicks into an empty space
- Under certain circumstances it was not possible to edit the password in the OPC-UA settings in the
PLCConnector
- When the 3d-object of a
Colorizer
was changed, the boarder in the 3D View
window was not removed
- Umlauts in names are correctly imported from STEP-files
- Under certain circumstances the arrow of a
Conveyor
was not shown correctly
- Scripts are executed even when the simulation was not running
- It was not possible to pick 3d-objects in the
Assembly Structure
window from a simulation component if they were already selected
- 3d-objects, which are generated by sources during simulation, are no longer saved
- Fixed an issue in the simulation component
Servo
that caused incorrect positioning under certain circumstances
- If the 3d-object of a kinematic or dynamic mover simulation component was changed, the rotation or translation axis was not updated correctly
- In the JavaScript-API the parent guid of a 3d-object was wrong
